Striker Connor joins Ashington from Morpeth Town on a permanent basis for the 2024/25 season after a hugely successful loan spell last season. Scoring twice on his debut in a 4-0 victory at Winterton Rangers in October, Connor went on to score 17 goals in 28 games, finishing as the clubs top goal scorer last season. A powerful centre forward who has previously played for Carlisle United, Blackburn Rovers, Barrow, Halifax Town, Gateshead, Scarborough Athletic and Blyth Spartans.

Dean Briggs
Since coming to the club he has offered a consistent level of performance. Dean is dangerous when running with the ball at opponents and has a real eye for goal. Dean takes up good positions and has the ability to both link the play and run with the ball.
