Ashington Community Football Club are pleased to announce that an agreement to move into the premises on The representatives from the club which included elements from the senior team, second team, junior section and support were joined by professional persons who will make up part of the club’s future management structure. These representatives met with the Chief Executive of Wansbeck District Council Bob Stephenson and other senior council members. The meeting had a positive outcome with a move to the new ground looking ever closer with an agreement on a lease expected very soon. The club have several further meetings in the near future to hammer out the exact details of the management structure and to agree a timeline for occupation of the new facility. The future looks a lot brighter this morning. More to follow.
