Ashington Community Football Club are delighted to announce a trial reciprocal season ticket agreement with Vanarama Conference North side Blyth Spartans AFC until the end of February.
The agreement will see Ashington season ticket holders the opportunity to attend Blyth Spartans home league games when Ashington are playing away at a concessional price.
In return, season ticket holders from Blyth Spartans – when their side is playing away, will be able to attend games at Woodhorn Lane for a concessional price.
Brian Shotton commented “We are delighted to be working with Blyth Spartans to offer season ticket holders of both clubs a reciprocal opportunity to attend each other’s games for a reduced entry fee. It is vital to support grass roots football in the area and I would encourage our season ticket holders to make use of this where they can. I also look forward to welcoming Blyth Spartans fans to Woodhorn Lane in the near future"
Stuart Dick, Blyth Spartans Media Manager commented “We approached clubs in our area in recent weeks to discuss the possibility of working together to boost attendances and support for the sides in the South East Northumberland area.
“The pilot scheme gives season ticket holders of all clubs an added bonus to their ticket deals, should they wish to go watch football on a Saturday afternoon when their club is out of the area – and supporting grassroots football in the North East.”
